Take a look at the humble beginnings of the Hockomock Swamp Rat. HSR began as a splinter group from the defunct Greater Brockton Striders. This was way before the internet. Back when you didn't photocopy or Xerox, you mimeographed.
If your old enough I bet you can still remember that smell as you held the paper with the blue ink up to your nose and inhaled deeply when the teacher handed out copies.
